Shower Enclosure Buying FAQ
Practical answers for distributors, contractors, bathroom brands and project buyers.
This FAQ explains the purchasing details that should be clear before ordering from YFX Shower. Our factory supplies complete shower enclosures and matching frame and hardware kits. Complete products include the glass specified for the model, while frame kits exclude glass. The minimum order quantity is 1 set.
For product-specific guidance, review our OEM and ODM services, compare complete enclosures and frame kits, or send YFX your dimensions and drawings.
Ordering and MOQ
What is the minimum order quantity?
The MOQ is 1 set. Buyers can order one sample, one replacement set or a small project quantity before arranging repeat orders.
Can I order a sample before a larger order?
Yes. Because the MOQ is 1 set, an approved product can be ordered for sample evaluation. Confirm the same dimensions, material, finish and packaging details that matter for the intended repeat order.
How do I receive a price?
Prices are quoted for the selected model and specification. Send the product link, quantity, dimensions, supply scope, finish, destination and packaging request so YFX can prepare a relevant quotation.
Complete Enclosures and Frame Kits
What is the difference between a complete shower enclosure and a frame kit?
A complete enclosure includes the glass, profiles and compatible hardware specified for the model. A frame kit includes the approved frame profiles and matching hardware only; glass is not included.
Do shower enclosure frame kits include glass?
No. Every product sold as a frame and hardware kit excludes glass. This must be considered when comparing prices, freight and local installation requirements.
Why do frame-kit pages show finished shower enclosure images?
Finished images demonstrate the assembled appearance, proportions and door configuration. They are reference images; the quotation and packing list define the profiles and hardware supplied without glass.
Materials and Customization
Which frame materials are available?
YFX supplies aluminum alloy and 304 stainless steel frame systems for applicable models. Material availability depends on the enclosure structure and is confirmed in the quotation.
Do you support OEM and ODM orders?
Yes. YFX can review custom dimensions, frame finishes, compatible hardware combinations and packaging. Feasibility depends on the selected structure and the technical information provided.
Can every product be made to a custom size?
Custom dimensions can be reviewed, but not every size is suitable for every structure. Panel arrangement, hardware compatibility, tolerances and installation conditions must be checked before approval.
Can I customize packaging?
Packaging and labeling requests can be discussed during quotation. The approved order should state the packing method, included parts, labels and any carton requirements.
Measurements and Product Selection
What information is needed for a quotation?
Provide the enclosure type or product link, finished opening dimensions, layout, opening direction, frame material and finish, glass requirement, quantity, destination and packaging needs. Drawings and site photos are helpful.
Should I choose a sliding, pivot or hinged shower door?
Sliding doors save exterior swing space. Pivot and hinged doors provide direct access but require clear door movement. Choose based on the bathroom layout, entrance width, nearby fixtures and maintenance preference.
What should I measure for a corner enclosure?
Measure both finished wall returns, height, intended footprint, door clearance and any tray or tiled-base dimensions. For quadrant and diamond layouts, send a tray or floor-plan drawing when possible.
Production, Delivery and Installation
How long is the production lead time?
Lead time depends on the model, customization, quantity, component availability and approved specification. YFX confirms the expected schedule in the quotation or order communication rather than using one lead time for every product.
Can YFX ship to different countries?
YFX supplies international buyers in different markets. Shipping method, trade terms, destination charges and required documents are confirmed for each order and destination.
What should be confirmed before production?
Confirm the model, dimensions, included components, complete-enclosure or frame-kit scope, finish, glass requirement, opening direction, packing method, quantity, delivery terms and approved drawing where applicable.
Who should install the shower enclosure?
Installation should be completed by a qualified local installer who verifies the site dimensions, wall condition, floor level and local requirements. Product-specific drawings or instructions should be followed when supplied.
