YFX Shower uses a specification-based quality control process for complete shower enclosures, shower profiles, frame kits, and hardware. Inspection requirements are agreed for each order so that the checks match the product type, material, finish, dimensions, and supply scope.
Quality Control Process
Our control process follows three practical stages: specification review before production, checks during production, and pre-shipment inspection against the agreed order requirements. Records and acceptance criteria are confirmed according to the project rather than replaced by a general website claim.
1. Specification Review
Before production, the team reviews the approved product information. This step helps identify differences between complete shower enclosures and frame-only supply before materials are prepared.
- Model, quantity, dimensions, and tolerance requirements
- Aluminum or applicable 304 stainless steel material selection
- Surface finish, color, and visible appearance requirements
- Glass specification for complete shower enclosure orders
- Profile and hardware scope for frame kits supplied without glass
- Packing, labeling, and documentation requirements agreed for the order
Custom drawings or written specifications should be approved before production begins. Any change requested after approval is reviewed for its effect on materials, production, and delivery.
2. In-Process Checking
Checks are performed at relevant production stages according to the confirmed product and process. The purpose is to identify deviations before final packing and to keep the finished product aligned with the approved specification.
- Key dimensions and component matching
- Profile cutting and connection points
- Surface appearance and finish consistency
- Hardware fit and assembly relationship
- Part identification for complete sets or frame kits
The exact checkpoints and sampling arrangement depend on the order and may be documented in an agreed inspection checklist.
3. Pre-Shipment Inspection
Before dispatch, completed goods are checked against the approved order information and the agreed checklist. Inspection scope can include model and quantity verification, visible condition, critical dimensions, component completeness, labels, and packing condition.
For a complete shower enclosure, the confirmed glass, frame, and hardware scope is reviewed together. For a shower frame or profile kit, the inspection follows the stated frame and hardware list; glass is not included unless it is expressly added to the order.
Material and Finish Verification
Material and finish requirements must be stated in the quotation, drawing, or order confirmation. YFX can discuss aluminum profiles and applicable 304 stainless steel configurations. The inspection basis is the approved specification for the specific model, not a generic material assumption.
Custom Orders and Inspection Criteria
OEM and ODM orders often require project-specific dimensions, finishes, packaging, or component combinations. Buyers may provide drawings, samples, or an inspection checklist during the quotation stage. Our team reviews whether the requested criteria can be applied and records the accepted version before production.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you inspect every order before shipment?
Pre-shipment inspection is carried out against the agreed order requirements. The exact inspection scope and sampling arrangement should be confirmed in the quotation or inspection checklist.
Can buyers provide their own inspection checklist?
Yes. Send the proposed checklist before order confirmation so our team can review the criteria and confirm the workable inspection scope in writing.
How are custom dimensions controlled?
Approved drawings or written dimensions form the inspection basis. Any required tolerance should be stated before production.
How do you distinguish complete enclosures from frame kits?
A complete enclosure order includes glass according to its specification. A frame or profile kit includes the stated profiles and hardware without glass. The supply scope is checked against the order documents.
Can a third-party inspection be arranged?
Provide the requested inspection arrangement during quotation. Access, timing, scope, and related conditions must be confirmed for the individual order.
Confirm Your Inspection Requirements
