Shower Enclosure Warranty and After-Sales Parts Checklist for Distributors

For distributors and bathroom brands, warranty terms are only useful when they are supported by clear product records, replacement parts and a practical after-sales process. This checklist explains what to confirm when sourcing shower enclosures or shower profile kits from China.

What a Useful Shower Enclosure Warranty Should Cover

Ask the supplier to define the warranty period, covered components, finish limitations, installation requirements and claim procedure. A written warranty should identify the products covered by the quotation and explain what information is needed for a replacement or technical review. YFX Shower offers a 10-year warranty; confirm the exact scope for the selected enclosure, profiles and hardware in the commercial quotation.

Separate Finished Enclosures from Profile Kits

Complete shower enclosures include the glass system and are supplied as finished products. Aluminum profile categories are frame-and-hardware kits only and do not include glass unless the quotation expressly says so. The after-sales parts list should therefore match the purchased product type: glass and seals for complete enclosures, or profiles, tracks and hardware for frame kits.

Review the aluminum shower profiles range and the full product catalog before ordering replacement components.

Request a Replacement Parts List Before Production

For each model, request the names or codes of rollers, hinges, handles, seals, brackets, screws, tracks and profile sections. Keep the approved drawing, finish reference and packing list with the order. This makes it easier for a distributor to identify the correct part when a customer needs service months or years later.

Check Quality Records and Installation Information

Ask how incoming materials, extrusion dimensions, surface finish, assembly fit and final packing are inspected. Installation instructions should state the required opening dimensions, glass specification where applicable, adjustment points and care instructions. YFX publishes its quality control process and can review project drawings for OEM and ODM orders.

Confirm Lead Time and Commercial Terms

YFX accepts an MOQ of 1 set. Standard products can normally be produced in 5–8 days, while custom products generally require 15–20 days after drawings and specifications are approved. The standard payment arrangement is T/T 30% deposit and 70% against a copy of the bill of lading, subject to the final quotation. See the shipping and payment information for the purchasing workflow.

Build an After-Sales File for Every Shipment

Keep the purchase order, approved drawings, product photos, finish sample, inspection notes, packing list and shipment details together. Distributors can then answer customer questions quickly and request the correct replacement part without guessing. For technical support, send the model, order reference, issue description and clear photos to the supplier.
